Character Permissions FAQ
Sep. 13th, 2025 08:52 pmI am OOCly okay with backtagging and (if nobody else in the thread objects) threadhopping.
On fourthwalling: I'm okay with it. However, consider whether your character would actually have gotten far enough into Blue Prince to recognize her, and, if so, how they got that far; it's likely to affect whether the resulting CR is positive or negative.
On romance and sex: In principle, I'm open to it, but there are three complications you should consider:
- She's an old lady, which limits the field of what characters would even be interested.
- I play her as "bisexual who hasn't considered WLW as an option"... but as a player, it's easier for me to write WLW chemistry than het chemistry.
- I'm less interested in writing NSFW, so expect a fade to black if a scene is leaning in that direction.
On violence: She's going to be mostly helpless in a physical fight; that's the kind of scene you're going to get. Please don't kill her or get in the habit of debilitating her.
On violation (mind control, sexual assault, etc): Get in touch with me OOC first. I can't necessarily articulate ahead of time what my lines are here, so let's get the plot roughly figured out ahead of time to make sure it's one I'm interested in & capable of playing. If I turn you down, trust me that this is without any malice intended on my part; we're authors collaborating, not lawyers for our toons.
On negative CR: Auravei is an opinionated old bat and there will be people whose opinions lead her to scorning them. Ideologues who subscribe to an ideology they didn't invent are at an especially big risk of this. This is an IC bias, not an OOC one; if you enjoy the type of antagonistic threading that comes from your character bothering a character who hates them, I'm up for writing it too!
Feel free to ask for clarifications, or for permissions on anything I didn't mention here, in the comments below (which are screened by default to avoid spoiling your plots ^_^). You can also drop a message in my Inbox if you prefer.
